I went to Santos for dinner the other day while visiting Florida. It was a great surprise for me. The excellent quality of food for a all-you-can-eat buffet. The price?! Even better. I love Japanese food and I've been to hundreds of places all over the world, and Santos really impressed me. I definitely recommend it. 2 days later I went back for lunch. It was almost half the price and didn't have the same variety as for dinner but still had the same quality. They have clams, oysters and snow crab for dinner and It's definitely worth the price. Also the desserts were amazingly delicious and again a great variety of yummy stuff. Go for it.

The best service I have ever had at a buffet! Everyone from the cooks to the waitress to hostess was extremely nice and friendly! There was always someone around clearing our table of empty plates, filling our water cups, and asking if they could get us anything. Great great great service! The reason for the 4 stars is simply for the quality pf the food. For the most part nothing really jumped out at me where I was like "wow thats really good". I know I am at a buffet and I know I only payed $24 but I still would like to have some really good food. The sushi was ok, nothing fancy or mind blowing. They had crab which was not seasoned and was on ice so was very cold. The butter I wanted to dip it in was also very cold :(. They also had steak, but did not wow me either. The had a shrimp ceviche that was pretty good. My favorite part of my meal was dessert! They had cake, ice cream, fruit, tiramisu, panna cotta with coconut cream (yum), but my all time favorite: creme brulee. I absolutely LOVED their creme brulee, they were small and I ate 4 of them! They were sooo good, I dont know if it was just me but it was the best I have ever had, surprisingly. The top was perfectly toasted and sweet and the creme was so smooth and creamy, everything about that dessert was perfect. So 4 stars goes to the awesome team of service and cooks and the blessed angel who made those amazing creme brulees.

Tried santos when they first opened and was not impressed. The restaurant itself is open and nice but the service and food is lacking. The hosts seem confused and had trouble seating people. As far as the sushi buffet, it's not great. There are a lot of choices as expected but the quality is lacking. Sushi is below grade and the mix of some noodle choices and dessert is not appetizing. Many better places than here.

I absolutely love eating at this buffet. The place is clean, the server is quick, attentive, and very nice. The food is replenished right away and the selection is delicious. They offer steamed crab legs if you aren't into the cold ones and they'll serve you butter if you ask. They have different cuts of meat that they carve for you and some kind of chimmichurri sauce. I like their sushi selection as well. To me it is definitely worth the price.

I have been to a couple of those Sushi/Japanese buffets around Boca and they weren't bad. One of the guys I worked with recommended San To's Modern American Buffet and Sushi. It never occurred to me that this place has both American food and Susi on the Buffet. I guess I never paid much to the "American" part. This is not a Japanese buffet but a GREAT combination of American food on one part of the buffet, and at the end of the buffet a Sushi buffet. This was really a great find and recommend this to anyone who wants so much to chose from, all different types of dishes on this buffet. They have a carving station with Roast Beef, Chicken and Sausage accompanied by grilled corn on the cob. They have sautéed mushrooms, beautifully cooked vegetables, baked chicken wings, sweet and sour chicken and a LARGE assortment of fruit and salads,, AND FRESH!!! Soups, shrimp and oysters. And imagine having 3 kinds of flat breads and pizzas which I had to take with the rest of the meats and salads. I had a delicious Avocado Egg Salad which I never have seen anywhere. On the end of the buffet is the Sashimi and Sushi. The difference at San To's is how clean and fresh everything is. When you walk up to the buffet, it makes you so hungry just looking at it. If you are careful and don't eat TOO much,, the last visit can be to the desert buffet next to the carving station. The décor of the restaurant is not shabby, like some of the other buffet dining rooms I have seen. It is bright and open and the chairs are all white, and extremely comfortable. The servers always clear your plate when you go up for more and refill your drinks without even requesting a refill. I never did say what the price was for this magnificent buffet::::: $12.95 all you can eat,, everything on that buffet. I also received a Yelp $10.00 off coupon for their Organic Egg Brunch on Sat. and Sunday's which I would like to check out. Sounds interesting. Great place to go for lunch if you work in Boca. You are in and out in 40 minutes,

Had to talk my wife into taking the ride with me!! But two minutes into her food she expressed her gratitude for me and my culinary for sight (lol). Food was fresh and plentiful .!! We will be back!!

Disappointing. I usually go to Ichiyami for a great sushi buffet. I like the food and the atmosphere. Nevertheless, I went to Santo's with two out of town friends for a late lunch. The food was generally okay, and it did have American ( steak) as well as traditional sushi. I had a groupon dinner buffet coupon. They did not accept it because the three of us were there at lunch. A smarter, more customer friendly establishment would have made an exception and allow me to use it at lunch. I will be back one more time to use the coupon. After that, however, I will stick to Ichiyami was offers a better atmosphere and a greater selection of food

    (3)
  • steven h.

They just do not cut it if you compare them to Ichiyami in se miser park you'll know what I mean, I used my last groupon, as they are overpriced for what they serve at 22-24 per head vs everyone else from 16 -20. to Noisy ,u cannot walk between tables, servers sometimes do to much, rolls are poorly made ,selection is nothing compare to mentioned restaurant. meats sit to long on grill & are over seasoned. desserts and soup are good. the rest is so so.

A hidden buffet located on the far end of town. Its an Asian American fusion buffet. Food: 2/5 Sushi was alright, huge variety though. Stay away from the Banana Rolls! The chicken was overcooked on may occasions. Aside from sushi don't expect much. Lots of seafood and other unexpected dishes (fried Mac and cheese?) Service: 5/5 Waiters were very interactive with one specific waiter kept the atmosphere lively. Great service but they are busy. Cost: 2/5 Not worth $21 per person. Way to expensive for a buffet price. Ambience: 3/5 Layout is nice but can get congested at places. Overall: 3/5 Variety in food but some are severely lacking. Service was very good with no issues. Price makes this place a one time only.

  • Lana S.

Wow?! Wouldn't have expected such a fine selection and quality food at a buffet. Unassuming on the outside, but the atmosphere inside is very inviting, the food was always fresh, the sushi never warm, and the staff were always ready to accommodate. Best oysters in the area and great crab, all fairly priced. Interesting selection as well--not your average sushi buffet. Definitely worth a return visit, and soon!!

    (5)
  • Blaze T.

Best buffet i've had. Unlike any other, the crab legs are not those cheap small ones that break and fall apart. Decent sized with very good flavor. Great oysters and the sushi is very well prepared. Hard serve ice cream to top it off...oh and GET THE CREM BRULE!!

  • Meredith C.

Love my Sushi!!! As fast as the trays of fresh sushi were set down for guests, the sushi was goggled up!!! Superb selection of sushi, and assorted American dishes. Today the restaurant was open for guests, tomorrow for the general public. SanTos Buffet is a step above any all you can eat buffet. The food selection is excellent, fresh meats, seafood, chicken, American, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine!!! There are a few details for the restaurant to perfect, the sushi chefs need to work faster to replenish the supply or the hungry patrons might stampede!!! In time this location will be as fabulous as their Coconut Creek location. More sushi, please.

  • Ceci D.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised that they have Ceviche-delicious! A lot of healthy options. The staffs are friendly and clean- will definitely will be coming back.

  • Tara M.

Great selection of sushi for the person like me who doesn't like raw fish. Food and service are outstanding!!! Can't wait to come back for their dinner buffet!

Overall, not bad for a sushi/American hyrbid buffet.

  • Taylor S.

Why don't you come up and sashimi sometime? Love this place, the sushi is always very impressive. Definitely worth a try if you are in the neighborhood. Their sushi is on a roll! I am soy soy sorry about my bad jokes.

  • Brett F.

I'm usually skeptical when it comes to buffets especially sushi buffet.. But must say Santos killed it great variety of choices from the Mac and Cheese to the many tempura sushi rolls. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a great meal at a fair price.

  • DJ S.

Not a fan of sushi, but they have many other items that were very tasty. Enjoyed the meat carving station, Mac and cheese was good. Great selection. Not grimey like a lot of other buffets. Service was friendly. Very enjoyable, will be visiting again.

    (4)
  • M. W.

Definitely a sub-par buffet. The sushi selection is very limited and mostly fried or cooked sushi. The biggest complaint about this place is they don't keep the buffet stocked with fresh food. If they run out of a dish, you have to wait for 20mins for them to refill the entree. The choice of food is split down the middle between American and Japanese / chinese choices. The other local buffet, Ichyami, blows this place out of the water by far.

    (1)
  • E P.

Sushi is really good. Very clean . I am taking off a star because one of the waitresses was hovering near our table like a hawk .it was very annoying .

    (4)
  • R H.

A different concept that is half sushi, half american fusion food buffet. It actually works pretty well. They're sushi is better than any of the other sushi buffets, and up to par with most of the good sushi restaurants in town. All of the fusion cuisine they offer is also done very well. Im not big on buffet food, but they've done a great job with food / quality control and it doesn't taste like buffet food. My only gripe is that the menu seems to stay the same. Would be nice to see some changes.

    (5)
  • Lauren M.

Mark is the most amazing server. And his creme brûlée is to die for!!!!!! This was my first time here and won't be the last the service mark gave us was phenomenal!!!!

    (5)
  • Mario T.

I started with sushi bar, that reason I go to buffet, because it fresh if buffet serving a lot people in a day, so the fish quality got to be fresh, fish don't stay in cooler for days. And I go for salad bar it also very good, I skip raw bar, I not a fan of oyster and calms. Next is hot food, the fried rice at santos it's the best rice I never have in Florida, and and the shrimp in hot buffet line forgot the name of it but this shrimp dish make me go back to buffet line for 3 time that night. Next to hot bar is fingering food, my friend they drink house draft beer only $2 they love drink with the fingering food in his section, but I don't drink, I had some soup lobster bisque is very good not salty like other place. Grill and carving station is very busy that night they have grilled ribeye ,New York strip ,roasted picanhia . And a lot of grill veggies. The best part of the meal is the home made dessert. Every thing is mini size ,I tried 7 desserts. Great dinner!!!!

    (5)
  • Mrs T.

lets tell you about what was good...the servers are young and professional! the food is constantly being put out/refreshed and the gentleman at the carving station would ask you if you needed help every time I went near to look. .they also have chicken nuggets and fries as well as flatbread pizzas and salads that are Americanized. the meh- ive definitely had better--- the sushi was warm. there were too many rolls with cream cheese (EEEEWWWW), never got shrimp tempura rolls...they would put out a dozen and theyed disappear and not be replenished, and th rolls with banana on top were just gross. some places offer a plantain on tp but santos had mashed sugary sweet babyfood like banana on top. yuck!!!! will not return!

    (2)
  • Ralph C.

Santos is the only buffet that I actually have always found to have well above average food... its always a treat and we are always pleased we came.

Wow our new favorite spot! Clean fresh and great food. Lee is sweet server!! We will be back for $2 beer specials!

  • Brandon B.

It is not a bad buffet but it is not even close to Shinju and Ichi Yama. The selection of sushi is not great most of the rolls are what I call fake. They have imitation crab or none fish in them. The food selection is small. It is nicer inside then the other two places and it does have better meat selection. My kids liked the dessert there better. Service was good but it costs more then the other 2 places and we go for sushi and will not go back. We all agreed to that.

Perfect place for lunch. Sushi was good and cooked food was great. Service was friendly and I will certainly be back.

So I decided to visit 2xs before giving a review cause buffets can be overwhelming sometimes ...I was there mainly for sushi and their selection was plenty. ..some nice creative rolls and a good variety of sashimi ..great presentation and replenished quick ...place is very clean and the back of the house staff is on top of their game ...we like this place and hope it succeeds...

  • Elizabeth W.

Awesome new sushi place! They have tons of great rolls and toppings. Love the hot food too! The service is friendly which is nice compared to a lot of buffets. Don't forget to save room for desert, the ice cream is so good!

Sushi was great! Fried rice and meditterrenean salad were good, edamame was cold though!

Came for dinner with my family on 6/21/15. The menu was a set Father's Day menu. I am not sure if that meant that the selections were much different than usual, but I was primarily there for the sushi, so I was not too concerned with the other selections. We had 2 adults and 2 children (ages 3 and 6). Again, it might be due to the Father's Day menu, but the selections for children were extremely limited. Basically the choice was chicken nuggets and fries. As I was there for the sushi, this is what I primarily concentrated on. It was nice that they offered sashimi as well as sushi and rolls. The Hamachi sashimi and eel sushi was decent, however, the rest of the offerings were middling to poor. The tuna sushi and sashimi did not have very much taste. The roll selection was limited and also somewhat tasteless. On some of the rolls, the rice would fall apart when picked up. I tried 3 of the carved meats, the steak, the leg of lamb and the beef Wellington (filet). The steak which I think was a ribeye was tough. The leg of lamb was too well done and the cut had a lot of fat. The Wellington pastry was falling apart and greasy. The filet part was tough and overdone. Based on this I was not enthusiastic about trying the rest of the offerings. As far as service, the waitress was polite, but was not attentive as far as cleaning the plates off the table. Some of the plates sat on the table for almost the whole meal, even though it was obvious that we were done with the plates. After dropping off the check, the waitress took almost 10 minutes to come back to take payment. Based on the above, and the price paid ($28.95 per adult) I would have given the restaurant 2 stars, however both my wife and I became ill that night. The only thing we both ate was the sushi, so I have to assume that is what caused us to become sick. I would not return to this restaurant.

Went to santos for lunch today and I enjoyed it! I had the buffet which offered lots of lunch options and lots of vegetarian options as well! Over all I was pleasantly pleased!

Absolutely THE BEST buffet ever. If you walk away hungry you should check into a hospital because you must have massive digestive disorders.

Ask for Adriel! My husband and I eat out on a daily basis and Adriel is, by far, the most genuine & humble gentleman we've had the privilege of meeting. The food was good however, the service was outstanding!

  • Joe B.

The food was good for a buffet, and not as expensive as I thought it would be. The Thai donuts were out of this world. I still feel that the food was buffet food, and looked nothing like the pictures in their window

    (3)
  • Todd B.

Excellent sushi buffet with even better carving station. It is rare to see sashimi on an all you can eat buffet but here they have tuna and salmon. We also were pleasantly surprised when the birthday recipient got a bottle of wine. We will definitely be back!

We have no complaints and many praises ! The food was incredibly fresh and very very good. It was a little loud. Our server Andre was great and our hostess Jessica was charming when I called on the phone. In fact it was one of our best meals in awhile. Thank you we will return !!!

  • Christina S.

Very disappointed... The restaurant is clean and customer service was good, but the food left a lot to be desired. It was our first time here and we arrived at 12:30pm for lunch. My disappointment is in the temperature of the food and little flavor. Had the meet at the cutting station and the beef was dry, little flavor and room temperature, port tenderloin was dry and overcooked (looked good though), beef and brocolli had good taste but was not hot/warm, the chili wings had good taste, but also room temperature, Red Snapper fish was cool temperature (I prefer fish hot unless it's sushi or on salad), there were no crab legs (only dinner time I guess), sushi was good, but too many rolls with salmon and cream cheese, and the Ponzu sauce was too sweet and tasted generic. Food presentation looks great, but you'll be disappointed after the first bite.

This is a New Location for Santos, and its as good as the one in Coconut Creek! I am a Sushi lover! and this place is great!

  • Ellen Y.

Pretty good selection of sushi. In my opinion, there weren't many raw options, but the selection was good, constantly replenished, and fresh. Was a little disappointed that there wasn't a salad bar option. I would have liked some greens with my meal, but the ceviche was very good, as was the roasted beets, and fresh mozzarella and tomato. My only complaint was that there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table, and some of the things needed salt. Both me companion and I loved the Grand Mariner Prawns, and the baked salmon was very moist and tasty. The casino prawns were tasty as well, but they were harder to eat, because you first had to take them out of the shell. They did have roasted sirloin, prime rib, and a few other beef dishes, which I did not get to try, and the pork loin looked really good too. If I had a bigger appetite, I might have been able to try those as well. Maybe next time, because I'll definitely go again. I think the best part of my evening was desserts. I've got a big sweet tooth, and they were the perfect ending for the meal. I highly recommend their crème brulee. I couldn't eat just 1. And the chocolate mousse cake was very rich, but delicious.

  • Brian R.

Super fresh, amazingly well prepared, clean and top service. This is a buffet, but with the five star sushi and the Brazilian churrascaria and the flatbreads and the Asian hot bar and the desserts that you'd pay a ton more for at Boluds but are of that quality if you're still reading this and not online with your plate in hand gasping in sheer wonder of the awesome feast before you, why are you still reading? GO! They have brunch on Sat/Sun and the dinner menu is deeper in pricier items like crab legs but the lunch buffet is worthy of a Singaporean food orgy, er, buffet (possibly the greatest buffets on Earth are in Singapore with all due respect to Vegas which are showy but low quality.)

  • Jason P.

Great food, service and environment. Will continue to dine every chance I get. Great Buffet.

  • Eric S.

High attention to detail and perfect selection. Couldn't have been better. The pricing is somewhat of a miracle when you think about it. I took some awesome pictures so be sure to check them out! They have a good sushi selection but I am crazy about buffets that offer sashimi like this. Their grill serves a half dozen different cuts of meat and veggies so if you think there's nothing here for you you're probably wrong!

We've been to this location a few times even though the Broward one is closer to us. The service, staff and chefs are very personable and courteous . Food is fresh and plentiful. Vivian the manager is a delight. We will be back. I love the Fried rice and steamed clams. Everyone loves the crab and my son loves the grill.

Great Place for large groups the price is right and this is not your average Buffet. From Sushi to Salads to Shrimp to Steak to Mussels to Steamed Clams to a variety of great desserts. This is not Cut 432 but it's pretty good !!!

We have some real sushi lovers in the family as well as a few picky eaters. This buffet had sonething for all if us. We loved everything we ate and will go back again this week. our server Lorraine was so nice and the service was just great! the Sushi was so fresh all the desserts were delish especially the creme brulee! ladies night so our wine was 1/2 price. the crab legs were some of the best I have had. i would highly recommend Santos Buffet in Boca!!

Exactly what you want from an Asian buffet. Food: 4.5 Ambience: 4.5 Service: 5+ Cheddar Parm Oysters Asian Jambalaya Asian Tacos Sautéed Calamari I will always say to never show up within a buffets last hour. Overall I am very very satisfied and definitely will be back.

    (5)
  • David R.

Went with a few friends from work. None of us were satisfied, even at lunch prices. The sushi was decent, but that was the only item with any semblance of quality. Meat was tough and dry, sides were bland (and looked less than desirable). It made two of us sick the rest of the day. :(

  • Barbara S.

This is NOT your typical buffet! (i.e. Golden Corral take a hike - ewwwww)! Unreal in the selection of unique sushi rolls (banana roll - hmmmmm?)...Manhattan roll...lobster roll...make sure you pace yourself and savor every guilty bite. Unbelievable selection for $20/person...definitely a PMS'ers dream come true...will definitely be back - you roll out but you're tummy is so full and happy.

  • Whitney E.

This place is awesome!!!! For around $23 for dinner and $13 for lunch no buffet around beats it or even comes close. They have a wide variety of foods to choose from... From crab legs to ice cream and everything in between. All very fresh. Also, the service is great and the staff is they attentive. Will definitely return soon. My favorite was the teriyaki chicken, crab legs, fried rice and the chocolate desert they have.

Ate here a few days ago and was pretty excited from all the high-rated reviews and loads of pictures. Got a plethora of sushi on my first plate, with high anticipation I expected to be blown away but was greeted with a "meh." Finished that up, and went in for a second plate with their selection from the carving station and crab legs and really didn't care for any of it. Paid and left right after that. Maybe my taste buds were off, or maybe it was an off day for them, who knows. I usually leave buffets with my pants unbuttoned, and zipper down as my stomach sticks out so far I can't bend over to see my toes, but after Santo's I looked like Brad Pitt from Fight Club. For $25 I wanted more but I guess this joint couldn't do it :(

Thank you Yelp for once again steering me in the right direction! My husband hates sushi but likes Chinese. I love sushi but don't want to go out to eat alone so this is always a good compromise for the two of us. After searching for a new spot I read all the reviews on Santo's and knew it was right up our alley. Boca is not around the corner for us being in East Lake Worth but it was soooooooooo worth the 30 min drive! The restaurant itself is very trendy, clean and comfortable. The girls at the front instantly greeted us and although it was packed we got a table right away. Both men I was with kept saying how soft and comfy the chairs were. Our server was a bit off but friendly. He did not know what day of the week it was and after getting our drinks we only saw him two more times. Pretty much the bus boys and manager cleared our plates and got our refills. The sushi buffet is really impressive! Lots of specialty rolls to choose from along with salads, sashimi, fish tacos and hand rolls. I actually only tried 1 thing I was not a fan of and I pretty much tried all the rolls. They have lots of shell fish to choose from too. I did not try any but my friend loved the oysters, crab, shrimp and craw fish. On to the hot section.... They have a guy at the meat carving station pumping out lots of freshly cut pork, beef and sausages. The only one my husband did not like was the pork. It was very dry. Either they should serve it with gravy or keep it in it's juices but it was not good. To go with the meat section they have corn on the cob, french fries, cheddar biscuits (almost like Red Lobsters!) and mashed potatoes, grilled veggies (soooo good!). Lots of food kids would like too. The Chinese section was a tad bit small but they had your regular staples. Fried rice,lo mein, dumplings, beef and broccoli, veggies and coconut shrimp. No hibachi here but you don't miss it with all the other choices. Deserts were mehh they have your typical vanilla, chocolate and pistachio ice creams, pudding and some premade cakes that are just pure sugar no flavor. Honestly I never expect to eat dessert after alllllllll you can eat everything else. There were lots of people in large groups and tons of kids. I'd say there really is something for everyone. By far the best crowd I have seen at a buffet ( this is East Boca) I'm sure this will be our new go to buffet.

5 stars! I don't care what anyone says. I went here for dinner for the first time with my bf using a groupon and we both loved it. Sooo many varieties of sushi made by talented chefs. The hot foods were so good with beautiful presentation. I'm not sure what's the difference between lunch and dinner but for dinner they had crab legs which opened our eyes so wide because we love crab legs. They also had crawfish. I didn't eat it because I'm afraid of them because they're whole and I just don't know anything about crawfish but it looked really good. Lots to choose from in the salad bar. I grabbed some sort of scallop type of salad which reminded me of conch salad. It was pretty good. The carving station..they'll give you steak made to your liking. I was too full to enjoy the steak though. As for the deserts....the best deserts I've ever had at any Asian buffet. Most buffets give u basics ice cream and stale cookies and pudding. This buffet has very good creme brûlée which I recommend, awesome ice cream, brownie, chocolate mousse and even the cake was good. My only complaint is they always take your plate when you're not done, but that's it smh.. Anyway, I'm dead serious, go here and u won't regret their food. I could still taste it..I'm definitely going back to try they're brunch on the week

Food: super fresh . Sushi was delicious and even their Chinese food looked fresh . They have a wide selection of sushi and fresh meat and best part it's all you can eat. Ambience : family casual place so expect kids and loud atmosphere . Staff : friendly and keep your drink filled all the time. Cost : considering you are eating in the Boca Raton it's all you can eat . 22 bucks per person for dinner. Isn't bad and if you 're a fatty I can be . You'll eat your money 'worth . It's definitely worth a try . It's nice to see that grill station there. They have ribeye steak. Prime Rib. N Y strip . Italian Sausage . Don't forget to try their Brazilian style "picanha"

This is a great find. Yes, there are a lot of other sushi and Japanese all you can eat buffet type of restaurants around. But this one has a great mix of everything. Great sushi bar. Really good quality. But they also have an entire section that is full of steaks and sausages and chicken and salads and all kinds of American things. A great redo of the 70's idea of a cafeteria. It cost about $20 and will tell you that it's an incredible deal. I read some other reviews where the desserts are not great, but will tell you that maybe they stepped up their game because the creme brulee and tiramisu were fantastic. Would highly recommend. Only problem is that the seating arrangements are a little tight so as you eat more it becomes harder and harder to get up and navigate your way from the table to the buffet. Lol

This restaurant is fairly new in East Boca and we thought we would give it a try. For the price of $24/pp you go in with decently high expectations. We do enjoy several other local buffets that are both less money (ichiyama and shinju) but wanted to test this one out for comparison. Sushi- fairly decent selection and decent quality but nothing going was amazing. Some odd rolls like Philly cheese steak and chicken salad taco which were both just kind of gross. The sashimi and sushi selection was fairly small but it was good taste. Salads- they have a few nice options but a huge turn off was the seaweed salad which I really look forward to with Asian cuisine was only about 1/3 seaweed and 2/3 filler rice noodles dyed green. If I want seaweed I'm looking for a nice alternative to the rice carbs and here you have no choice, how early insulting. They have some crab legs which I felt were very watery as well. Hot food-very few selections and much smaller than anticipated. The meat for carving is mostly dried out with little flavor and other choices are honestly pretty blah. No dumplings at all either! I was shocked! Desserts- do not do it! Very watery and just gross. :( big disappointment for me here. The place is very overcrowded with huge white chairs and nowhere to walk, it's a constant battle to get from your table to the food and a bit stressful of an eating environment. The waitstaff is extremely friendly though and nice and on top of the things and the sake flight I had was by far the best part of my meal and experience. Overall I do not plan to come back. Come here for the sake flight and go to ichiyama after for food. Sorry Santos, just does not stand up to the competition.

I like the setting at this Santos better. The sushi seemed better here as well. Still not great but good. Either way I came from the crab legs and seafood and maybe a bit of steak. Didn't disappoint. I like this upscale buffet setting even if I don't like buffets. I will be back when ever I am in the area and have the time to drive up to Boca.

This place was a bit far for us, but well worth the drive. The decor is very chic, open, and clean. There's a huge selection of foods other than sushi, including a raw bar, grill and carving station, and inventive entrees. All of the sushi and sashimi were fresh and constantly being replenished (especially since one customer scraped ALL of the beef tartare onto his plate...TWICE. Thanks for saving some for the rest of us). There wasn't a single roll that I didn't enjoy which is rare, with plenty of "americanized" rolls like the philly cheesesteak roll in addition to the more traditional rolls. The other foods were just as impressive, but the standout was dessert. The clear favorite at our table was the creme brulee, which had a creamy custard that was perfectly balanced by the sweetness and crunchiness of the caramelized sugar. Overall, this is one of the better sushi buffet places I've been to in this area and will definitely be coming back.

Great buffet! Awesome selection with very fresh and abundant sushi and many other offerings - salads, hot dishes, soups and desserts. Only went once as was visiting area for short time, but was great for an early dinner with the family. My toddler loved the fried rice (I did too!). All you can eat crab legs - with a very reasonable price. Will likely go back when in area again. Also, service was AWESOME and way better than I would have ever expected from a buffet service (waitress would quickly replenish drinks and clean table/ replenish silverware as needed).

I couldn't resist trying this place out, I was rather satisfied with the staff, decor, and food. The staff was friendly and checked up on us frequently. Plates were removed quickly and our drinks were always full. I had also asked for hot tea, and to my surprise, when I got back to my seat, the waiter was there with a box of different fine teas to choose from. That was a great touch! This alone would've received 5 stars on service. Decor was contemporary, and the establishment itself was kept very clean. A+ Now for the food, I saw some pictures and was hoping to see some of them there, unfortunately I didn't. I do understand when I went, it was brunch time so they had a breakfast area where a chef was taking request for waffles, pancakes, French toast with all the fixings. However, that section removed a portion of the seafood area I was looking forward to. The raw bar had shrimp and mussels only which was disappointing. There was a nice selection of sushi, very fresh and delicious, unfortunately I didn't see any Unagi (Eel). Maybe I didn't look hard enough? Now for the cooked food, pretty typical stuff, fried rice, lo mein, and your beef, chicken, pork and fish selections. They were good, better than your typical take out but I was maybe just hoping that something different was going to be done different than your other Asian buffets. They did have a grill with a chef (super friendly) there with steaks, sausages and etc. Dessert was mediocre, they had the little square cakes most other buffets serve and the tubs of ice cream, however they have some pretty interesting flavors others didn't seem to serve. They also had fresh Thai donuts which were delicious. I will return on a different day, preferably dinner time because that's usually when most buffets showcase their best. I would rate it 4 1/2 stars for now, until I return.

I went with my boyfriend and the food was amazing!! The service was great and we were impressed with the variety at the buffet. I'm not a sushi fan at all, but the sushi here was incredible. I knocked 1 star because we couldn't pay when ready due to their credit card machine not working, but I still recommend it!

Was impressed from the moment we walked in. Clean, fresh food, comfy upscale seats, great service. We went out of our way and were not disappointed. ARRIVAL Two stations to get you seated quickly. This place must be jammed during season. . It was busy but no wait at 7 Pm Monday. We told our server we'd never been there before so she smartly gave us a good overview of what was different about tonight from other times (lunch has 6 types of flatbreads that are not there for dinner, ladies night half off drink specials, some things change daily) so that we'd know that foods change to keep you coming back. FOOD I was a little leery of a sushi buffet at the low price, but was very happy with quality. Some were awesome, some were OK, all were fresh and the choices immense. Ever wanted to try lots of different sushi items, but stuck buying 6-8 pieces. It's a samplers dream! The mussels and raw oysters were great! There were plenty of seafood options outside of sushi, including baked salmon, sashimi, Alaskan crab legs and various tartare. The meat specials were a perfectly rare beef, pork loin (little over done), and I think there was chicken. Lots of cooked and raw vegetables, fresh fruits. The ice creams and brownie were not so good, but we loved the creme brulee and other items! There's little blue double dishes for putting your favorite sauces in. SERVICE Our server was always there when we needed, kept water glasses full and always seemed to check on us at just the right time CONCEPT & ATMOSPHERE Family friendly; casual to dressy. Lights not too bright, not too dark. Not a bad place for a date, but I don't think anyone can say a buffet is romantic. All you can eat; No other options. Saki drinks, beer, water; not sure about others available. Multiple set ups for large groups. There were at least two groups over 10 when we were there and other than the momentary birthday cheer, the noise level was not too loud, easy to converse. There was a TV by the bar server area. VALUE Well worth the trip for something different. Average price $23.95 before discounts, if applicable. Drink flights 3 saki for $6; sakitini ladies night $3.50. 4 vs 5 stars Every item wasn't a home run so I can't give it a 5, but I will go back. My review reflects two people dining.

Out of a lot of other buffets I've been to this one was okay compared to others in NY. The overall food was okay, some items tastier than others. However I have to say our waitress Maria was absolute doll! I'd come back for her. She has such a light to her and really cheers up the environment and mood.

My boyfriend and I came to this location after he finished work around 5pm on a Saturday. It wasn't packed which was a little bit of a surprise because the other location is usually packed, especially at this time. Still, this location is just as good as the one in Coconut Creek. Santo's is probably my favorite Japanese buffet in south Florida... even better than POC and Shinju! They have the typical sushi bar, fresh seafood, meat carving station, soups, desserts and a mixture of asian and latin food choices. Food is fresh and their presentation is clean! Our waitress was super attentive and nice, but we get good service at either location. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is that I sorta wish they had more selections, but whatever they do have is delicious!

You won't be disappointed eating here! Since I've never eaten at a good sushi buffet before, I didn't have high hopes of eating here. My doubts were quickly dispersed by the happy crowd that was eating there. The sushi bar had a refrigerator system built in underneath the serving plates.

Go for it.

Went with a few friends from work. None of us were satisfied, even at lunch prices. The sushi was decent, but that was the only item with any semblance of quality. Meat was tough and dry, sides were bland (and looked less than desirable). It made two of us sick the rest of the day. :(

Lol

This place just blow my mine! Those raw food are super fresh and delicious! Love it. Normally I don't write any review. But this place I am truly recommend to all my friends. I love their Weds day lobster special! It's like seafood heaven to meeeeee! I have to say this is my HG Japanese & American buffet restaurant so far in Florida area!

Sushi is extremely fresh! I love their lobster bisque soup. This location is new and has a Groupon out. Definitely take advantage during the meantime!

Great selection of sushi, my favorite is salmon and white tuna. Amazing steak also with the mash is awesome. Great location easy to get to. Deserts are great selection and amazing atmosphere. At the end wash it down with a double espresso.

Best sushi is in Boca Raton my favorite place to hang out friendly service clean bathrooms. We always sit in the northwest corner of the restaurant and the waitress we always have is gorgeous.

The food was so good - I've been to buffets where the food is old - not the case here. Everything is fresh and yummy. The sushi selection was amazing.

  • Blaze T.

Best buffet i've had. Unlike any other, the crab legs are not those cheap small ones that break and fall apart. Decent sized with very good flavor. Great oysters and the sushi is very well prepared. Hard serve ice cream to top it off...oh and GET THE CREM BRULE!!

  • Mrs T.

lets tell you about what was good...the servers are young and professional! the food is constantly being put out/refreshed and the gentleman at the carving station would ask you if you needed help every time I went near to look. .they also have chicken nuggets and fries as well as flatbread pizzas and salads that are Americanized. the meh- ive definitely had better--- the sushi was warm. there were too many rolls with cream cheese (EEEEWWWW), never got shrimp tempura rolls...they would put out a dozen and theyed disappear and not be replenished, and th rolls with banana on top were just gross. some places offer a plantain on tp but santos had mashed sugary sweet babyfood like banana on top. yuck!!!! will not return!

Awesome new sushi place! They have tons of great rolls and toppings. Love the hot food too! The service is friendly which is nice compared to a lot of buffets. Don't forget to save room for desert, the ice cream is so good!

The food was good for a buffet, and not as expensive as I thought it would be. The Thai donuts were out of this world. I still feel that the food was buffet food, and looked nothing like the pictures in their window

Absolutely THE BEST buffet ever. If you walk away hungry you should check into a hospital because you must have massive digestive disorders.
